NAMM 2018 starts on January 25th, every year they host the music trade show in California (for trade only) at the Anaheim Convention center. The organizers have promised this year’s event to be bigger and better. There will be 4 days of the event with 5 stages featuring over 140 music bands. This definitely is an exciting music event for all music lovers, performers, and merchants.
What is NAMM?
NAMM stands for National Association of Music Merchants. This is a non-profit association that brings together global participants in the sound, music, event products, and technology. It was established in 1901 with a goal of promoting music making all over the world. NAMM organizes trade shows that exhibit the latest innovations in sound, music recording technology, musical instruments, music education and lighting products. Participants can learn all about music in one place with these days, get the latest news and education on different brands. Participants can also promote their music for better recognition.
Who Will Be Coming?
The music lovers, music educators and the retailers like us all over the world to learn the new products, management, brainstorming and marketing, the best yet there will be over 140 bands performing over the 4 days of the expo across all genres of music so that will help visitors not bombarded with intense buying decisions and learning process.
NAMM is an opportunity for music performers and other industry players to improve their skills in their role in making, promoting and selling music.

I am expecting the event will be bigger this year than last year. Speaking of the piano industry besides the yearly vendors from Europe, America, China, Japan, and Korea display the brand new pianos also the refurbished and restored vendors in all types of the piano to choose from.
